Authentic Filipino food. Not many choices here in the desert but this place knows how to cook. We tried, beefsteak which was perfect, pinakbet veges fresh and good, talong eggplant was grilled and cooked right with smoky flavor. Lechon was fresh and skin crispy and meat tender and moist. Mungo bean was excellent. Sinigang sour soup very good.

2 item combo: $10 with soup
    Lechon $12.99/lb
Catering tray large Kare Kare :$100

Nice hole in the wall filipino spot in the desert! Hard to find no signs up, but it's next to a donut place.  Not a lot of seating so I see most people picking up food to go.the prices are average, the tapsilog was really good as well as the skewers very authentic homemade taste.  The bangsilog was good as well.  I would definitely stop by here if I was visiting the area again.

This is my go to spot for good Filipino food. They offer a wide range of dishes made daily and they also have a prefixed menu aswell. Every time I eat here it takes me back to my trip to the Philippines . The food is very traditional and I love that because it's hard to find that out here without it being Americanized to accommodate their poor palate. If your in the area and want some delicious Filipino food then this is the spot!!!

I was excited to find a Filipino restaurant in Palm Springs. It's located in a strip mall right next to Winchells Doughnuts. There was no sign so it was hard to tell where it was but in the window there is a huge Filipino flag. You order then you sit and wait for your food as it is prepared for you. Then you go back up to pay once you have finished eating. The place is CASH ONLY so bring cash and no credit cards. They do have an ATM machine inside if need be. The rice plate with two eggs and your choice of meat  was $8 but very filling. I had the pork adobo and pork sisig. The pork adobo was good and flavored well in the juice. The pork sisig was peppery and a little spicy but overall not bad for the location.

Meng's is a beacon of light in a very lonely Filipino spot in an area where there is possibly another spot i'm not aware of. It's more importantly a beacon of light because they provide loyal Filipino food that can sit well in a saturated area of Filipino restaurants if that were the situation.

This place also is tucked inside a strip mall, WITHOUT a sign other than a filipino flag over the window wall. No one driving by can possible see this spot, unless they know this place, yet they find customers because this place is good.

When you enter, you can kinda feel like you're in the Philippines because it just feels humid from the kitchen exhaust. There's a huge sign with all the options of food possible as well as the tray of food in front of you. For such a small shop, they provide anything that wants filipino food would want.

Your best bet is a protein rice and eggs and their palabok noodles. If you're new to Filipino food, that would be a good pick, but I would suggest you explore their menu. Thanks for the meal!
